Canadians Exiting Egypt

Tiny tyrants are attempting to retain their perceived control over a populace that has not only recognized treachery, but refused to be enslaved.

I cannot help appreciating Exodus. It is one of the most extraordinary books of the Bible for those that long to trust in the love and justice of God as Redeemer.

Misused authority

Tiny tyrants are little Pharaohs. While they have been placed in positions of power, a gift from above, they have misused their authority by oppressing the people to the point of injury and death. The populace has been subjected as chattel rather than appreciated as humans, and the tiny tyrants continue to believe that they have a say, that they will determine the destiny of others. Alas, as tiny tyrants are want to do, they deny the Almighty, and the autonomous spirit placed in each human. We see evidence of the activation of our desire to remain free, with millions of people conglomerating, united in the stance that we will not be kowtowed into a corner.

Calling of the shots
While wicked men continue to deny they are on the loosing end of their nefarious dealings, they betray themselves. Like Pharaoh, they believe they can call the shots, and negotiate concessions with the people they took hostage in the first place. It is the calling of the shots that put us all in this predicament. The conspiring to maim and kill via poison darts, lethal injections into the bodies of the uninformed, have awoken the righteously indignant who will not tolerate the abuse.

And it came to pass when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand (Exodus 2:11-12)

When Moses sees the burden of his brethren, and the abuse heaped by someone in authority, an Egyptian, he decides to kill. This is premeditated murder. The evidence of this is Mose's desire to take life without witnesses. I am ever so slightly confident that you and I, dear one, have been so inclined in our own lives? We can forgo those inclinations for now for higher ground.

Higher ground
Moses leaves his home, for fear of retribution. He is gone for forty years, and then recalled to active duty. God has determined that Moses will lead the captives out of slavery. Moses is an archetype, a precursory Christ figure selected to demonstrate God's love and justice via the exit from Egypt of the Hebrews, later referred to as the Israelites.

Tiny Tyrants
Pharaoh had numerous opportunities to let God's people go, but that hubris hardened heart of his just plain old would not accept, that he wasn't God and clearly, was not in charge. He sacrificed his first born son to death out of sheer stupidity and stubbornness. I see this with our modern day politicians and like minded cohorts, the tiny tyrants that believe they have a firm grip on the future, and that their plans are written in stone. They have sacrificed their own children, speaking with forked tongues slanderously to the point of utter shame.

They neglect to acknowledge that what was written in stone millennia ago as the law, was the Ten Commandments. While men expire, God's law of sowing and reaping are eternal, and clearly something each flawed man must learn for himself. To deny deity is a dangerous endeavour ... I have written this sentence many a time as a reminder to self and others.

The higher ground for Moses, was in his return. He did not have to kill anyone to lead the people out. In fact, Pharaohs repeated denial to set the people free, heaped horrendous consequences on his citizenry, their property, and their wellness via plagues.
  • Water turns to blood
  • Frogs
  • Lice
  • Flies
  • Livestock pestilence
  • Boils
  • Hail
  • Locusts
  • Darkness
  • Killing of the first born
All of this could have been avoided. Warnings were given and Pharaoh refused to deny himself for the sake of other. This is what we witness now, with the tiny tyrants gripping with fingers that seem immovably frozen in place. It is the loosing of their grip on reality that will be their demise.

The older, wiser Moses, at the age of eighty, didn't have to kill or hide his kill this time around. All he had to do was obey the LORD, and the LORD took care of the rest. Gloriously, Canadians are leaving Egypt peacefully and lovingly, because they don't have hate or murder in their hearts! They are impelled by Love 💝

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he (Deuteronomy 32:4)

Modeling Christ
We now have many modelling faithfulness, modelling Christ for a watching world. I grin broadly as I type, thrilled to be Canadian. We are loved world wide, and our reputation as godly people is being restored, while the tiny tyrants have established publicly and proudly, to whom they belong. They are not us, and we are not them, and the evidence is obvious for all to see, praise GOD!

Extreme Example of Blasphemy & Mercy

God is listening
Let's take a peak at this extreme example of blasphemy. A comedian pridefully bragged about her poison injection history, declaring she hadn't been sick and
"Clearly Jesus loves me the most. Ahhh."

"I don't mean to brag, I don't care, but I want you to know, double va-xx-ed, booster, flu shot, and I'm gonna be honest, I have the shingles shot too. And I still get my period, what yes (envision vulgar hip thrusts while these words are spoken). Travelled, went to Mexico twice, did shows, meet and greets, never got Co-v-id. Clearly, Jesus loves me the most, seriously. So nice, so nice. Ahhhh."

These words were no sooner spoken, and rather breathlessly and slightly slurred near the end, and the comedian next took several lateral steps while muttering ahhh, and falling flat on her back. The audience laughs, believing this is part of her act, and a way of making her bold claims more pronounced.

Humble human apologies
"Umm, so I'm in the emergency room. I look weird, uuuh, my God. I'm so so so so sorry. I passed out on stage. I got up, I did one joke and I felt so dizzy. You could see my eye I fell on my eye my eye. Uuuh, my God. I can now I can now (some confusion here) believe this happened I feel so terrible but they had to tell everyone to leave and then cancel the second show. I tempi (not sure what she meant to say) I will be back. I've never ever fainted"

Heather McDonald's body dropped in front of an audience that had paid money to be entertained. The professional in her was mortified. She had not made people laugh, she had become a public display of tragedy, an immoral representation and extreme example of what happens to those that blaspheme the name of the LORD, without hesitation or conscience.

I am so grateful that Heather is alive and spoke from her emergency room hospital bed. I have watched the original video several times, and the poor woman clearly had not witnessed her own body betrayal at the time of her apology. She did not fall on her eye, causing injury. Something happened inside of her to make her dizzy and faint for the very first time in her life. Sin has a way of working through our system, generating soul sickness and eventually, it manifests physically. The words she spoke, were very true. Jesus does love her the most.

Who is God like unto thee, that pardoners iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy (Micah 7:18)

God's mercy
God is matchless in His acts of pardon, compassion and mercy. He loves each of us so much that He wants none to be lost! When I watch the two videos, I see the sweetness of Heather displayed in the second video. She is vulnerable, weak, a bit confused and twice, she speaks the words, my God. Yes, my God, your God, everyone's God, is who we call upon when our strength is removed to the point that our bodies no longer work according to our plans and demands.

My prayer for Heather, is that she is humble to the point of repentance. I sure do hope that she has been redeemed from the grave miraculously, and that she becomes one of the most stellar witnesses of the saving grace of a merciful God that loves her so much, He gave His only begotten Son for her privately and publicly committed sins.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth (Exodus 34:6)

God is merciful
God is gracious
God is long-suffering
God's goodness and truth is abundant

If God was not merciful, you and I, and Heather for that matter, just would not be here, dear one!

Let us rejoice in this new day and pray that we are well used to glorify The LORD 💗

Winter Doesn't Exist

I love February. It is the month I start to pretend that winter is almost gone, and never really existed in the first place ❤

This has been the winter of dichotomy, as evidenced by the sides people have taken, in direct opposition from one another, based on their internal workings. But let us be very clear. Some people don't won't to be on a side, they want everyone to be one!

White fluffy clouds
For whatever reason, the words I'm a lover, not a hater, played in my mind as I considered the white fluffy clouds floating by my window, highlighted by a clear baby blue sky. God's creation is glorious, including the humans He formed firstly from dust, and next from bone. I decided to hear the lyrics to what I thought was a song, and discovered this little ditty. It was exactly what I needed to hear, and it perfectly described my twenty-five years of marriage!

"I'm a Lover (Not a fighter)", a song written by Ronny Light.

God made Adam from the dust of the earth. He also made everything else this way, except for woman. Eve was created from her husband. God crafted Eve from Adam's rib. How marvellous!

Polarized
Last night I prayed. I prayed for my former husband. During the night, I had an in-my-dreams reunion with him. Nothing had changed, the divide was still real, and I awoke feeling what I had so many times before, sadness. We had not had a meeting of the minds, we had never soulfully combined to become one, in spirit or in flesh, not the way God designed and intended for a married couple. We were always polarized, and it has remained so, all these years later.

I asked God, is this another layer of grieving? I realize as I type that yes, it is. February 14th approaches, and love is calling on so many planes. It is a day designated for lovers, and I see multitudes in the world, gathering, singing, praying, and displaying the unity that God designed us for. Men, women and children, loving one another and wanting all to join in the freedom festival 💖

Not a chance Satan
It is relatively warm where I live, and even still, I sometimes do not want to brave the cold, not alone that is. So many have done just that, they have gone out into the winter and withstood skin freezing temperatures. Their desire to display love for their fellow man has driven them out into the world to declare, I am a lover, not a fighter! Except they are doing battle, with the enemy of the human soul, the one that would have us divided and conquered. Grin ... not a chance Satan.

Fire melting hearts
While it is cold outside, it is fire that is burning and melting hearts. It is love that sparks flames and ignites the passions of those that desire what God does. I am a Canadian, and it is in my warm blood to thrill while I witness a country not divided, but a country that is united in ways that moves others to action!

🍁 Being Canadian 🍁

Canadians are a pleasant sort of people. We are known for our polite and gracious inclinations. We are also true north strong, brave and free. When a Canadian acts in ways unbecoming, they stand out as aliens, as not one of us. The attempted hostile takeover by global governments, and by our own home ground politically corrupt and criminally minded governors, sounds raucous warning alarms for those of us that know the difference, and see the dichotomy.

The godly and the wicked are obvious now, and cannot be ignored, not in good conscience that is. The hope continues to be unity, and with the melting of hearts, it is more than possible for people to cross over from being haters to lovers, unifying with God as our glue.

I like the American proclamation. One nation under God ...

When I look at the sky, He is undeniable and it is very clear, that no matter what side we align ourselves with, we are always under the Sovereign.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork (Psalm 19:1)

My prayer is godly connectivity
My prayer is love as our focus and ultimate goal
My prayer is we resolve to be lovers, not fighters or haters

My prayer is we call out to God in our time of need, and from the clear blue sky, we get a sign, not only that He heard us, He delights in delivering us from the enemy 💘

P.S Grieving the loss of relationship is what we must do without neglect. When a whole person that we love has left our lives, it is grievous and painful. My grief is not the same as it once was, but I still acknowledge that it exists.

We are currently facing extreme loss on a daily basis. For our own emotional and mental well-being, and for the sake of our souls, we must process the pain.

By Little and Little

I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land (Exodus 23:29-30)

JUST a tetanus shot
I have wondered at the survival rates of the injected. This morning I contemplated the last shot I received from my doctor. It was to prevent  tetanus. I was due according to her records; it had been at least ten years since my last injection. I had heard or read somewhere, that tetanus can cause frothing at the mouth, and I surely didn't want THAT! I somewhat trusted my doctor at the time, and with a quiet warning bell sounding somewhere far off in the distance, I agreed without feeling as though I were throwing caution to the wind. It was JUST a tetanus shot, and not my first.

I recall praying all the way to the high school my son would attend in his teens, fretting over his well-being. A neighbour and I took our boys to a clinic, for shots that were meant to prevent horrid diseases that if contracted, threatened life and limb. Meningitis was a massive concern, and I sure didn't want my son to get THAT! There was some suspicion though, as I recall at the time, of shots causing autism, but those were just lies and rumours, or so the professionals declared when asked. My fretting was about the possible injuries to my son from the injections ... and dear one, I am grateful he didn't get injured, or so it seems? I wasn't confident I was doing the right thing at the time, and I am now more then confident, that is was not!

That is what I am currently pondering. Have we all suffered in countable and subtle ways, from being injected with poisons touted as necessary?

When my son attended high school, I was far too savvy to agree to him getting the last round of "required" injects. I had to get approval, a waiver from the health unit, so that he could continue to attend school, minus the shots. It felt sinister and foreboding at the time, knowing that by refusing, my son could be set outside of society and this, is exactly what the order of business has been for numerous years.

It is obvious, because of its lack of subtly. The wicked ones have plotted, planned, and publicly announced their agenda in condescending and mocking ways, much to our shame. We have been tricked en masse, all of us, and it is deplorable that we have been misused this way.
  • I had warning bells, sounding from a distance
  • I prayed for my son to be okay, after injection
  • I knew something was wrong, but I did it anyway
Sounds like a whole lot of people of now, doesn't it?

His love supersedes
This returns us to my topic, and the survival rates for the poisoned. God has ways of ensuring the continuance of humanity based on our needs, despite our disobedience. His love for us supersedes His wrath, especially when we are too stupid, too naive, too inexperienced, too easily influenced, to know how to say no and mean it. He gives us lots of opportunities to course correct, and now is the time many of us are recalibrating, in grand and teeny tiny ways.

When we look at the scripture above, we see that God removes the enemy by  little and little, because they serve a purpose, they have work that must continue until we, God's children, have become smart enough, savvy enough, experienced enough, to stand on our own, without undue influence from coercive forces that have murderous eyes and hearts.

Many of us mean it when we say no. We know better than we did before, and now we are doing better, for our sake, and for the sake of the children we have been blessed with to protect from the enemy that wants only to kill and destroy what God Almighty has created.

By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land (Exodus 23:30)

I am not sure how this will play out, dear one. I am sure that God loves His children, and that He has a plan for us, and a plan for the wicked too. I read this today:

"The further a person is from God, the less sensitive to sin they will be. The closer to God, the more sensitive." This explains a lot, doesn't it?

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish ...  (Deuteronomy 30:15-18)

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19)
  • If you are sensitive to your own sin, I am very happy for you, dear reader. This is a  most excellent sign, that your soul longs to be in holy union with the One that made you!
  • If you sin without sensitivity, you may be the little and little that He drives out, when you no longer serve a productive purpose. God does not suffer fools easily or for long. History has established what I declare as truth.
Here is a formula you can use to ensure you are on the path to God!
  • Confess your sins
  • Commit to God
  • Give Him praise for His grace
  • Forsake everything else in exclusive dependance on God
Our children deserve to know the living God. Not because He is some cosmic provider and protector, but because He is Wonderful!

Sigh ... He is Wonderful

I pray that whatever we have been injected with in our past, and for some in recent days, fades into nothingness, and that we are cleansed from whatever the enemy has attempted to murder us with.

God is Sovereign and He preserves, and He also, little and little, drives out the wicked.

Honk Honk

They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their inquiry, he will visit their sins (Hosea 9:10)

I have been in the book of Hosea, and it behooves me to make significant comparisons. We are living history, as we humans are want to do! Each generation must come up against their own morality corporately, and of course, as individuals. I am thrilled to witness a resurgence of love, unity, compassion, and God drawing His people magnetically together for the soulful purpose of protecting each other from wickedness!

Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them! (Hosea 9:12)

The Israelites went a whoring, and this is what godless people do. They set themselves up as their own gods, and isn't this what we are seeing? The godless globalists attempting to establish their very own earthly kingdom, on SomeOne else's property?

Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer (Hosea 9:13)

Those that deny deity and the sanctity of life, have given themselves and their children over to murder. It is always a dangerous endeavour to conceive and believe, that we are in charge of our own destiny. Demolishing faith in the Almighty has been the weapon of war the enemy has successfully wielded to destroy family.

Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters (Hosea 9:14-15)

We the faithful, those of us that trust in God for each and every heart beat and breath, witness mass destruction. The people are killing themselves for lack of knowledge of the LORD:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame (Hosea 4:6-7)

God is intolerant of nonsensical men and women that believe they can get away with murder. As the author of Life, He has the first and last say in all that is, and it serves us well to remember this:

Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations (Hosea 9:16-17)

I am proud of my fellow freedom fighting Canadians. This country belongs to God! We are declaring this loudly, proudly, fearlessly and with good cheer! We want freedom for all, especially those who have yet to confess their sins and experience the saving grace of the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We have a new found hope and a restored sense of communion, with God and with each other. It is glorious💖

Shepherdess

Shepherdess, by Linda Grace Byers

God has designed each of us with purpose. It is delightful when we discover what He has in store for us. When someone, say you, dear reader, learns what you were hand crafted to accomplish, you will not be able to help yourself from living the calling God has placed on your heart 💖

Now is the time
You get to choose
  • Where is God calling you?
  • What does He want for you?
  • When you answer His call, He will equip you, dear one!
  • How will you respond to Him?
I am a writer. It took me a long time to call myself this with confidence. I have something to say, and it just so happens words on a screen are my vehicle to the hearts and minds of readers.
  • Perhaps you too, are a writer?
  • Perhaps you are too shy to declare your purpose?
  • Perhaps there are people wanting to hear what you have to say ...
Now is the time 💖
You get to choose 💞

I am a Shepherdess, and I have completed my second book. It will be available for purchase in the next short while. Compiling it was playful, painful, and a pleasure all at once. That is how our work is: not always smooth sailing, especially when we forget, that it is God that fills our sails to move us across the waters at His pace.

I look forward to meeting you in the pages of Shepherdess

Yours in Christ,

Linda Grace Byers

Soulful Sojourns

Skewed
I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning, raring to go with what I had hoped, was the second to last bout of editing for my book, Shepherdess. I have invested an extraordinary number of hours formatting and editing the 144 stories and today, I was just past the half way mark, when one too many keyboard taps brought my work to a screeching halt. Try as I might, I could not undo what I had done. The more I tried, the more skewed the pages became.

Rectify
In utter despair and frustration, I decided crying would be the best solution to my distorted work dilemma. I thought the best place would be in the shower, but as it turns out, the closet was my pleading with God, and shirt soaking location. He has fixed so many things in my life before, that I just knew, a little book editing difficulty wasn't going to take up too much of His time and talent to rectify.

With the irritable tear shedding, I expressed some pent up exasperation, and appreciation too! A sign of the times, isn't it, dear reader?

Here is the dichotomy:

1. Freedom fighters are taking on tiny tyrants with massive self-aggrandizement psychosis. Narcissists everywhere are surprised at the keep on trucking commoners, that dare to challenge their kingly corruption.

2. Freedom fighters are being maligned and attacked by predators that used to be prey. The victims that fell head long into the lie pit, are in emotional and psychological crisis, as they suspect wordlessly, that they may very well have given up their health and life, for a lie sold to them by murderers.

While we celebrate, encourage, and rally as a collective world wide with the truckers, we despair and sorrow over the lovies that got slaughtered already, and those that have yet to suffer the full consequences of their own self-betrayal.

  • Imagine waking up one morning, and realizing that you trusted complete strangers that perpetually lie, to inject you with something they pretended was safe, effective, and would preserve your life
  • Imagine knowing that you walked to your own suicide shots, and brought your kids along with you for injections too
  • Imagine comprehending for the very first time, that you were a coward, and instead of saying no when you wanted to, you said yes, and in doing so, your life is irreparably damaged

The delusion is great and grand, and so many have given themselves over to being deceived, that they have no clue what truth looks and sounds like anymore. Dare I say that liars always are, liars? If a person is inclined to twist the truth and they are comfortable with it, then they are also comfortable with the lies others tell. Misery truly does love company.

It is ONLY when we recognize how despicable deceit is, and when we see ourselves as abased in the lying, that we can snap out of the stupid stupor, and attempt to live honestly, with ourselves and others.

Truth is definitive and singular
Sin is rampant and all inclusive

I'm a sinner, he's a sinner. she's a sinner, we're all sinners, wouldn't you like to be asinner too? Be a sinner, sin like a sinner, be a sinner, sin like a sinner: The Dr. Pepper theme song for sinners, made up while wearing a snarky grin, by yours truly

Back to the closet
In my closet during the crying, I realized how focused I had been on completing the task of editing. While it had started out as a labour of love, somewhere along the line, the editing turned into an all encompassing full time job with lots of overtime. I had no idea what workaholism was, until this morning, when my work got interrupted and I had to full stop and regroup.

And we are full stopped, dear one, and we are regrouping.
  • I went to my prayer closet when I could not fix what I had messed up
  • I went to my Father for comfort when in little Linda frustration, I needed help
  • I cried out for resolution as I visited the world in my mind and saw the pain
  • I laid it all down at His feet and asked him to fix it, knowing only He can
That's what a sinner turned saint does. They stop the lying and start speaking to Truth, knowing that without Him, the self-betrayal is what will really kill us.

I realized that as I refined by book for readability, I hadn't been writing anything new. I had become reclusive and neglectful of relationship with my Father. Dear one, there is nothing like full stop and a shut down, to force a person to consider what matters most.

Glorifying God is what matters most

When I resumed editing, I realized that as I listened closely, God suggested I move a picture here, or add a thought or comma there. I started savouring the experience, and realized there is no hurry and no worry, there is time to enjoy and remember the why of writing in the first place.

Life is a soulful sojourn, dear one. It is a beholding and becoming. Moving forward sometimes requires we stay where we are for a little while, to appreciate what is happening around us, and the impact it has on who we are and who we long to be.

Truth is definitive and singular
Sin is rampant and all inclusive

Choosing one over the other is a thoughtful process. Evidence of who we are shows up in what we say and do

Behaviour never lies
