Just One

There is Just One, and none like Him.
He is the Just One, and no one can compare.
If there were Just One, Who would you say He is? How will you address, the Just One?

Infinite wisdom astonishes, with all its intricacies. Words most certainly have power, and when they are Just, they have punch too.

The Word became flesh. How do we wrap flesh around words, and make them living and breathing beings? We don't, but the Word did. Words can be weaponized, but not by the Just One. Humans with dagger sharp tongues, speak wounds and prattle on about wars. Humans start the fights, The Word will end them all.

Someone asked me, How do you fight with God? my response, Good luck, you don't; you will never win. The Just One cannot be defeated, because Justice prevails, even when it looks as though the wicked are winning.

The Innocent blood was shed, the blood from the Just One. Only His blood can be called, innocent. Yours and mine is mixed and mingled with hatred, disgust, contention, contrariness, selfishness, envy, conniving, conviction, condemnation, disdain, repulsion, revolution, disobedience, lust ... the list of rottenness can wrap round and round the world and back again.

Open just an inch
Shut your eyes and take hold of the curtains you have closed on your soul; next pull them apart, just an inch, if you dare. Brace yourself before you peek in, and bravely look at what you have said, what you have done. Can you bear what you see? Does it frighten you, make you ashamed, make you proud, make you giggle in delight ... make you weak as water and wanting to plead for redemption and one more chance, just one more chance, yet again, from the Just One?

Justice and The Judge are inseparable. Does it horrify you, as it does me, to think of a world where justice is trampled upon, justice is deserted, justice is ground to a pulp never to be seen or heard from again? As long as there is a Just One, we need not fear; justice will serve up just desserts ... as soon as ... we know not when, but of a certainty, we know the time is coming.

Shame is a serrated edge that can effectually severe the sinner from a reprobate mind. In other words, when we face the Just One, the excruciating sting of our sin becomes insufferable, compared to His glorious holiness: countenancing Him mutes the would be complainer, justifier, excuse maker in us. There is no room for rationalizing and mitigating before Him: all words disappear into aphasia.

There is Just One, and He is the Just One, do you, know Him?

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18)

All those accumulated sins, yours and mine, belong utterly to us, and yet, God is willing to forgive the contrite, the soulfully repentant: He will forgive all those that go to His Son for redemption via the forgiveness of sins. Some say faith is a mystery, I say, The Just One, revealed Himself in time and space, and I need not wonder about Him ... I know Him, and hope to God in heaven, you do too.
