You Started It

Feels like a fight was started by almost invisible instigators. Demons have time and enthusiasm working in their favour on this side of eternity, and while they present as ephemeral, their activities in the world are unmistakably impactful and effective. Pish posh you may dismiss, adding, You are being ridiculous with all this spiritual demonic nonsense; off you go, nut bar, but I would have to reply, Get some spiritual goggles, before it is too late. Angels of the heavenly and hellish varieties, have been around for longer than men that walk the earth, and to take lightly what matters momentously, is to err on the side of foolishness.

Now back to our topic, the fight. The guys and gals gainfully employed by their daddy the Devil, are the actors in the play written by Satan himself. He instigates, and they do the deeds he directs them to. Some of the players understand their role and are willing to do all kinds of monstrous things for the advancement of the dark kingdom, while others are bit actors, cast as add-ons, filling the spaces between scenes with trivialities: these extras are mostly unaware of the destructive role they play, but they are necessary participants to put into production, what Lucifer wants to have happen.

The fight was initiated as a cv stand-off, between what originally, were not warring factions, but rather, friends, neighbours, co-workers, and family members, influenced by numerous mischievous and murderous fiends: pettiness, self-aggrandizement, virtue signalling, self-righteous justification, condemnation, attack, criticism, relegation, segregation, exclusion, accusation, were the weapons of war, and the cv mutants suddenly turned on perviously loved, trusted, and eagerly embraced humans that they easily related to, prior to being informed of their plague like thoughts and selfish inclinations. How dare you threaten my very life, by not doing all you can to keep me from harm? was the undertone message, and as the battle ensued, voices got louder, more threatening, and undertone turned into verbalized assault.

I had a colleague years ago, a delightful, playful woman, blessed with charm and grace. My opinion of her drastically changed when I saw her in a mask at Winners, and from across the store, she shouted, Where is your mask? Her attempt to publicly humiliate me and cow me into compliance, was a wicked thing for her to have done, and she is not the only one that I recall being vicious and arrogant in her attempt to force her misguided beliefs, onto me. Thing is, nowadays, the people that fell for the cv debacle, live and die regretting the injections they so willingly ran too to save their lives and everyone else’s, and there seems to be a desire on their part, to forgot, and have us forgive. It is business as usual for many, post cv. Hey, I am all for forgiveness, but I find it easier work, when apologies for extreme wrongdoing, are offered up first.

They started the fight, and some of us are going to finish it, but we may not be in the room when the finishing happens. After being told endlessly what to do, and not to do, by perfect strangers, and then having the same imposition forced senselessly by close friends, co-workers, neighbours, old friends, and relatives, it takes a whole lot of prayer and pleading with God, to have the strength to grieve the losses, and then somehow bounce back, albeit, with almost brand new people that truly are, kindred spirits. God gave us a grace period to adapt and adjust to these violent relationship endings, and while I am not callous from the experience, I do acknowledge how painful the struggle has been. I can say that I am more resilient, while having a deep sense of compassion for the people that treated cv as though their lives were on the line, only to learn that it was a vile attempt, and a successful attempt, on Satan’s part, to drive wedges between humans and their Creator, and between humans and their fellow-creatures.

As I stated earlier, there are demons and people that started a fight, and it ain’t over yet, but for the next round, there will be fewer opponents in the ring, because some of us, have learned to focus our attention elsewhere, and it most certainly, is not on worldly affairs - those we leave to worldlings.

The co-lateral damage continues to accumulate, and it is my hope that honest conversations of a reconciliatory nature take place soon, because souls are on the line, and days disappear as though they are evaporating; and man alive, dying with I am sorry on the lips, never spoken or heard, is a sad state of affairs, wouldn't you agree, dear one?

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:22).
