Shadow & Substance

When shadow actualizes into substance, what we hope for, and alternatively fear, becomes tangible.

Recall your childhood, and that sick fear that surged at bed time, when shadows loomed large, shifting and changing on bedroom walls, with confirming household creaks and groans, that haunted and disturbed, sending you deeper under the covers in an attempt to hide and protect yourself from the monsters that lurked and and in your imagination, roamed freely during the night. Sleep is a vulnerable state, and darkness is cover for evil beings, making it natural and normal to experience fright in the night. The sun's rays clear our vision and crisp our surroundings, and it is easy to forget in the morning light, what terrified us in the dim hours. 

Jesus' arrival as the Messiah was foretold as a promise spoken of in the Old Testament, and when he put on flesh, he was referred to as Emmanuel, meaning God with us. The hopes of the heart are satisfied when one sees this shadow of God, fulfilled in the substance of Christ, as King. Fears take flight, the soul rejoices, and what used to terrify, no longer influences and impacts the spirit, because the spirit of God is without fear, and we become fearless too, when we but all our God given faith, in him. When you, dear one, have confidence in Christ, you need not worry, fuss, fret, nor fight:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).  

Now that we have established a baseline for understanding the glorious side of shadow and substance, let us take a look at what we are witnessing on the dark side, that is manifesting in the world. Keep in mind, as we walk along the path of perdition to comprehend what we see, that Satan requires bodies, he needs human flesh, to function in a utilitarian fashion, to accomplish his foal goals of retaliation against our mutual Creator. Humans must agree to his terms, they must choose wickedness and rebelled too, in order to be used well in vile endeavours. The Devil cannot make you and I do anything: we are always accountable for our words and deeds, so be sure to take a look at your past and current circumstances, for signs of disobedience to God's will and way, so that you can course correct, and calibrate to Christ, as the only One that can redeem souls, saving them from damnation. 

Shadow has now taken on substance in alarming ways in the realm of evil. On my street, a woman drove her vehicle at an estimated speed of seventy kilometres an hour, into a car travelling in the opposite direction, causing significant bodily harm to the passenger. It just so happens, that the injured party is my across the street neighbour. The head on crash driver, lives three doors down from the victim of this senseless incident, and she has not once, apologized or shown concern, for the person she severely hurt, while reckless driving. Now before you accuse me of being unkind and without compassion since "accidents happen", not far from my home, a woman sat with her car idling in a parking lot, and then gunned the engine, pressing hard on the gas pedal, driving her blue Jeep Wrangler through a mall wall. The massive vehicle ploughed down six people inside the building, pinning one woman under the truck. Switching gears slightly, I have heard reports of people hearing voices in their heads, of a radio active sort, and dear one, they are being instructed to do things to themselves, and to others, of a violent nature. I could go on with the driving into buildings and people stories, but you don't have all day to read about the news in my city, since you live in a place too, where strange and disheartening things are happening, that have you shaking your head, and perhaps have you wondering, Do I really need to leave my house today? 

NOTE: Within the same time frame as the incidents I noted above, a man drove into the front of an elderly ladies home, while she sat in her living room. By the grace of God, she was feet away from the front end of a pick-up truck, and was spared physical injuries, but now must suffer the massive inconveniences associated with home repairs... I tell you this to say, that destruction enters in, even when you are minding your own business in the front room of your home. 

I am going for the jugular today, and you may not like what I have to say. There is co-lateral damage occurring all over the place as a result of injections people agreed to have administered to them during the cv craze, and long afterward too, since there are people that have had upward of eight plus shots, and some people continue to wear masks. People are sick, suffering, and dying, and sometimes, perhaps often? this is occurring while they are driving, turning them and their vehicles into weapons of mass destruction. I call it mass destruction because of the repercussions, and the sick waves of trauma that reverberate through society, and in particular, into whole family units. 

We are witnessing shadow becoming substance in alarming ways. The poison shots were of the Devil, and now we see the sinister coming to life in the odd and dangerous behaviours of formerly healthy, and normal human beings. You need not watch the news from far off places; all you need do, is watch and listen to your local news, to see that the world has gone mad with their addiction to pharmakeia, and humans are behaving as though they are on hallucinogens. 

It is now a worry for the mind, and a hazard to the physical body, to drive the roads here in London Ontario, Canada, with the rules and laws being seemingly ignored. I suspect, it is not simply the ignoring of established regulations for safety that is occurring, but an absence of presence of mind. People appear to be losing their ability to think, and act reasonably, with an understanding of short and long term consequences. It is unfortunate to note too, that contrition is missing in action when these accidents occur. We were told to protect ourselves from one another not that long ago, and perhaps the soul sickness seeds planted back in the cv heydays, are now, coming to fruition, with detestable and undigestible fruit. 

I am not a negative nelly, or a dread and doom kind of gal. I am cheerful and playful by nature, and while I walk this earth, I will always profess faith in Christ, and pray that as an ambassador for the King of kings, many will come to saving grace knowledge of God the Almighty, by hearing the gospel of truth. This said, I have the gift of discerning the spirits, of seeing and being enabled to label what is happening all around us, and it is a frightful sight to behold. I am not alone in my observational skills, there are many people noticing that shadow in the spiritual realm, is now substance in the physical, with demonic forces moving from secretive strategic plotting, to overt and obvious, full on assault of the human race.

I invite you to read The Bible, and to ask God to open wide, your spiritual eyes. As we come to a close of our time together, I include this powerful punch of truth from scripture: 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

When our night monsters take on flesh, we must take up the sword of the Spirit, and in unity, pray for God's will to be done, here on earth, as it is in heaven. 

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6:17-18).
