Shazam!

For years now, I have exercised my super powers as a weather changer. Grey sky, no problem, I pray for blue with fluffy white clouds and SHAZAM, gorgeous overhead coverage graces one and all. Torrential slanting rain with wind threatening tornado swirls that break tree limbs and lift roofs, I pray and BING BANG BOOM, the downpour slows to a gentle trickle, kissing flowers to their roots, and all is well in the world, at least, around me and mine.

Magical thinking, you say? perhaps, or maybe, just maybe, there is something marvellous to discover in what I am suggesting:

1. Notice what is not right, and label it
2. Check with scripture to see if you are on point
3. Compare what God's plan is with what you are witnessing
4. Pray for God's will in earnest
5. Ask God to make right, what humans have attempted to destroy

If you are at all aware of what is happening to our world, you acknowledge that the wicked ones are inclined to ruining what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, anything virtuous and praise worthy. They are opposed to all that is of God, being contrary to God's righteous glorious ways and commands. They want to block out the sun, but really, it is the Son of God they want to throw shade on, dear reader. In arrogance, fools try to kill God, blacken His reputation so to speak, and it ain't gonna happen, because, HE IS GOD ~ SHAZAM!!! BING BANG BOOM!

Here is what God wants for us:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8)

The devil and his crew ~ including the humans that publicly make demonic spectacles of themselves ~ want lies, manipulation, iniquity, ugliness, horrifying reports, vileness and condemnatory words and deeds to grow and flourish ~ in hideous foul ways ~ in the minds, hearts, and souls of human beings.

Dear one, we are commanded to pray. Find below four of many verses leading us to the One and Only Sovereign. It is His power, and His delight that we seek when we ask in earnest:

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6)

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24)

Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

This morning I felt really small, teeny tiny. I had the pleasure of recognizing how very little control I have over everything, except of course, the weather, which was established in the opening sentences of this piece of writing (hee hee).

While teeny tiny, small minded men and women have convinced themselves of their invincibility, they are subject to the weather too; they are subject to decaying, dismembering, dementia (insanity runs rampant amongst the godless ... Fredrick Nietzsche suffered dementia and mental break down at the age of forty-four ~ he wrote about super man, a socialistic concept of supreme humans ruling and reigning the pathetically inept and useless regular populace, also known as useful idiots or useless eaters in modern terminology (that's you and me by the way, dear reader), and finally, death. That last word is the killer ... I mean kicker.

As the sun shines brightly into my front room, I switch off my desk light as redundant. The provider of brightness shines in the minds firstly, the hearts secondly, and the souls thirdly, in those that love the One that made them. I find it utterly mind boggling that the trees keep their leaves until the fall, when they are commanded to drop them yet again. The wind and rain do not tear them away. They are weathered in storms, and so, dear reader, are we.

I pray, then I pray, and then after that, I pray again. It is the power of God that means and matters the most, and His will, will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Do note in the picture I included, the I Am inside the word Shazam ... God is the Great, I AM.

Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

God hears you, dear one
He sees and hears you 💖
