Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
The scriptural question above, is a very serious one. Consider your answer for a moment before reading more ...
Matthew 13:24-30
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
I work as a personal trainer. I know muscle is made of one type of tissue, and fat is of another kind. Both can grow, and each take-up space. One is a work horse, the other a sluggard. One, muscle, is full of strength, the other, fat, is weak and in its shapelessness, cannot pull its own weight. Wheat, dear reader, is edible, and makes bread, the staff of life. Tares, or weeds, are useless space invaders, that choke out wheat when proliferating. As I continue on this comparison trajectory, I see the book of Revelation opening up before me.
In end times, tares will proliferate and most certainly, we are witnessing just that. The wheat is sparse, interspersed, and spread in smatterings, almost hard to lay eyes, let alone hands on; and since the wheat, the committed to Christ in life and even to the point of death followers, are few and far between, the tares, the ones that belong to the devil, are working on choking out the would be faithful Christians, nibbling at their tender roots with near to truth biblical sounding mottos and sayings.
The tares seem so wheat alike, that they can chameleon their way into the hearts and minds of their followers, taking them out of The Way. I am being cryptic in my writing today, perhaps even parabolic. I want to take you back to Amos, and ask you the question again, Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Agreeing to disagree on scriptural matters is unacceptable. Jesus selected twelve disciples, knowing one was destined to betray his Lord; the one was marked as a murderer, despite being included in the inner circle, hand picked by God, to witness miracles through Christ's power over nature. Judas Iscariot is infamous, forever known as a man of iniquity, and dear reader, we have the very same type of men masquerading amongst us today, men that feign faith but secretly sell out the Saviour when filthy lucre tempts and tantalizes them. Jesus gave us an example of how these men work against heavenly commands.
The company we keep is a statement of what we believe. Can I possibly keep company with murderers? What must I do in my thinking, in my heart, to justify such an atrocious choice, to excuse and explain away the murderers wicked ways, in order to accommodate my desire to redeem them enough to walk with them? Is this not agreeing with what they have done?
I am seriously wondering, how many of your, and I am speaking directly to you now, and not in generalities, How many of your family members, friends, co-workers, neighbours, must become oddly, violently ill, suffer and die quickly, before the excuses fully stop, and accusation and blame are finally placed on the killers?
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Two can indeed walk together without agreement, albeit out of step, completely out of sync; awkwardly and uncomfortably. Alternatively, I see that walking with someone with whom there is agreement, is a form of fellowship with a figurative hand shake and godly kiss of affection; an understanding that yes indeed, we agree. The ten commandments are very simple, and a measure for conscientious faithful followers of God. When I suspect the breaking of commandments in a professing Christian, I suspect them, and see them as a possible tare, a charming subterfuge seed, inserted to confuse the wheat and weaken them: I for one, cannot walk with one such as this.
I vowed that in writing, and in my speech, I would go after anyone and everyone that promoted the cv injections, or any kind of injection at this point. Those that realize the mistake they made, have admitted regret. Those that pridefully cling to believing they did not error, perhaps have secret remorse, and are asking God for relief from the burden of their grave misjudgment. But those that purposefully pushed injections on unsuspecting vulnerable people, without now showing any signs of remorse for the incalculable hurt and suffering they have caused, and those that walk closely with these criminals, are evil and vile in my sight, and I do not have to tear them out of the fields, God will send his reapers to do the extraction for bundling and fire. What I will do, and have done, is warn those that prefer to paint people pretty because they sound wonderful and godlike; I warn that to walk with one that obsequiously walks with the wicked, is to agree with them.
All the global leaders, they are tares. There is not a one that has not done the bidding of their daddy the devil. All their companions, their pilot fish, are of the same ilk; tiny tares that cause massive destruction when all the insults and injuries are counted. If a bragging mass warp speed murderer is your earthly commander and chief, then guess who rules and reigns in your heart?
Can two walk together, unless they be agreed?
You get to consider this question, and I do hope you take the time to assess who it is you walk with, and maybe ask yourself whether or not it is God honouring to continue to do so.
