It occurs to me, dear reader, that if someone supports abortion, and they have children, they are making an unspoken LOUDLY shouted statement to their existing offspring, and it goes something like this:
I believe I have the right to have intercourse, and if an egg gets fertilized by a sperm, and new life springs forth in the form of a baby, and I am not inclined to nurture and love that baby, then I have the right to exterminate it, and get help doing so from a professional killer.
After writing my blog about murderous Mark Carney the other day, I thought about his son and all the hurtfully horrendous messages he got along the way from his father. Imagine your parent as a church goer, pretending to be a man of God, and then hearing and seeing him promote abortion verbally and in writing: What would that do to the child on the inside? Perhaps the child would have unspoken troublesome thoughts along these lines:
- Would dad have wanted mom to abort me if the timing wasn't just right?
- What makes me special, that I escaped the scalpel and vacuum?
- Does dad love me, or am I an inconvenience too?
- If he had the choice, after meeting me, would he prefer that I was never born?
- I feel insecure, and wonder, why am I even here, if life can be taken so easily? from a little baby that cannot defend itself.
- Is my dad some kind of murdering monster?
- Has mom had an abortion before?
- Has dad paid for an abortion before?
- Do my parents hate babies?
The murderous spirit inside of a person that can kill their own kin, must be acknowledged and routed out as demonically motivated. The killing spirit comes from the pit of hell, and all that speak freely and openly about the right to kill the unborn, are spiritually devoid and godless. God is the Author of life, and life is our greatest God given gift. To speak of life being brazenly and wantonly stolen from the vulnerable and weak, is to speak as a devil.
Dear reader, we are looking into the eyes of the dead, when we hear someone, anyone, promoting abortion. I cannot state it more clearly or strongly: we must steer clear of any signs or signals that we are aligned with such a one, because God is not political, does not play favourites, and is always and forever righteous. He sees your thoughts before they occur to you, and if you think you can get away with voting for baby killers, think again. Your choices reflect your own commitment to Christ, and conversely, your own weak willed wishy-washy acceptance of the breaking of God's commandments.
I will address one more argument before we go off to our own activities. It is the issue of pregnancy that threatens the life of the mother. On occasion when there is a medical concern, women have been told that they have a choice to make: terminate pregnancy now to save your life, or risk your life by going to term and delivery. Dear reader, as a mother, I must tell you that in no uncertain terms, if this had ever been spoken to me, I would have carried on with my pregnancy, protecting the life within, and valuing my child's life more than my own. It is abominable to a mother's heart to save herself rather than her child, even if they still happen to be in the womb, and perhaps more so. How in the name of God, could a loving person do such a thing to their unborn child? And if they have done such a thing, and learn how precious they are in God's sight, I am confident this would haunt them for the rest of their days, even after feeling God's merciful forgiving grace.
God is merciful, long suffering, forgiving, and offers us grace, unmerited curative grace, and I want you to know that no matter what you have done, you can go to him for salvation, and learn of his righteous glorious ways. Jesus died for the sins of the world, and when we allow this life altering truth to penetrate into our very being, we see life in a whole new and brilliant way; nihilism and death culture become hideously ugly and repulsive to us. Acknowledging that our leaders are a reflection of society ought to be terrifying, considering baby murderers are at the helm. If they can kill the innocent and vulnerable without any signs of guilt, then what do you think they are willing to do, to you and your own?
Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill
Thou shalt not kill, and that includes babies dear reader. I pray this convicts you and that your conscience suffers massive spasms of guilt if you have been a proponent of abortion. I pray you see your sin, confess it before God and man, and sin no more.
