Free Fall

Free Fall

Oh boy, I have tried to approach this piece of writing from a couple of different angles. I am often frank with my sharing, but today, I have some reticence kicking in that suggests I tread lightly: I just can't do it though, I can do no-thing with it except state the obvious in an unabashed fashion.

The Spirit of God

You know what is going on, I suspect? We all feel it, why, even an imbecile is aware that while we are being constrained, we also feel this undeniable weightiness, like nothing will ever be the same again. And in this collective consciousness is a knowing, that we are right. The Holy Spirit of God, has had enough of the human race, and He is withdrawing His constraint, and his protective hovering hand over us. We are now, in a free for all fall.

The free for all fall

In our world we have born witness to wickedness. This is not a surprise; humans can be a nasty greedy selfish lot of mongrels. Unbecoming really, to see creatures stampeding and head stomping their way in the opposite direction of their Creator. Again, this is not surprising, because it was all professed, proclaim, predicted to happen as it is happening, right before our eyes. The free for all fall has snapped us out of the spell of stupor, and now are are paying a little more attention.

Everything, all of it, your history and mine, is predicated on this one statement from God, made to man prior to his fallen from grace state:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die (Genesis 2:17).

and then, there is this:

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die... (Genesis 3:4)

Ludicrous

Who are we to believe? When I look around me, there is literally in my face, or should I say, on the face evidence, that people actually believe, Ye shall not surely die... The idea that we can escape or cheat death is ludicrous: death doesn't ask your permission, and it can find you in your living room while you snack on chips watching Jeopardy on TV. The self deceptive part of many peoples thinking, is that they have time, that nothing has happened to them yet, so they can go into a fugue state about their eventual dead as a doorknob funeral state. Death is a surety for all, and you have no business counting your days, because they are already numbered: God didn't consult with you for your approval on your pink slip expiry date.

The great difference

If we look at the messengers, a disparity immediately presents itself. The great difference between Gods custodial command and the serpents slithery suggestion, is love. Both had a working knowledge of the impact evil has on those that choose to disobey The Creator. We have benevolence vs malevolence, good vs evil, foreshadowing verses found in Genesis, the book dedicated to mankind's understanding of our in the beginning stages of life as Gods creatures.

Blocked out the sun

I remember the first time I entered my house, the one I have lived in for nearly 20 years. For many reasons, it was ideal, a godsend, to have the opportunity to purchase it with my family and make it our home. The backyard had a newly installed in-ground pool, with all the bells and whistles of poolish splendour one would want; we even have a gazebo, making our backyard enviable, giving us a resort like feeling when we entertain there. While all this sounds wonderful, there were some things that needed to be addressed. The fence, on all three sides, was tree lined. Some of the trees were brushing the skies, and they blocked out the sun. There was also ivy climbing and weaving in and out, over and under and through every square inch of those fences. The ivy had to go, because it was taking over the world from the looks of it: believe me when I tell you, it was a rascal to eradicate.

Roots remain

The thing is, we pulled all of the ivy off and down and out, but it kept showing up. Years of underground roots had established themselves and they weren't going without a fight. All the trees were cut down too, but alas, some of the trunks, while cut to the quick, still remain, albeit rotting now. All these years later, there is evidence of what used to be sky scraping trees and overgrown bushes.

Moral of the story

What am I driving at; what is the moral of this story, you ask? It is this:

What we plant, when it takes root, becomes something we might have to cut out at root level, and sometimes, digging deep is required to eliminate the offensive thing that wants to take over our world. Much has changed for me since first moving into this house all those years ago, and in the last four plus years, I have noticed when I spot and tug at a root from the past, it yields readily to my increased strength.

The company we keep

Dear one... the company we keep, the things we read and are exposed to, they become the trees, bushes, plants, flowers or thistles that can either choke us out, or delight our souls. I leave you with this scriptural guidance and truth:

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he mediate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away (Psalm 1:1-4).

Second Greatest Hoax

Talk turkey
Well now, let's talk turkey, shall we, as in, who is the turkey that told you you needed permission, for anything?

Forgive me in advance for my tainted with temper thoughts dear reader, but as you know, it is my bit of writing and if you are going to read it, you will have to accept my terms: right now, my top lip curls and the colour before my eyes is a shade of red.

Adult lexicon
Well over a year ago, when the word allowed entered our daily adult lexicon, I became alarmed and I knew, that grooming was taking place. The ROTE behaviours of the masses over the last observable twelve months is a good indicator that brainwashing, coupled with fear inducing grooming techniques have been effective. In the hands of the wicked and perverse, psychology is a dangerous weapon.
NOTE: predictive programming has been employed for years and I will say that the handlers have done a magnificent job in manipulating their audience

Sorry not sorry

We should not be surprised by what is happening, because we all have been oh so very sorry, as Canadians, for oh so very long. Oh Canada, why oh why, are you so sorry all of the time?

Wicked kiss of kindness
Predators like the hunt, it is part of the excitement and a way of playing with their prey while proving their prowess. There is a part in each predator, of the human variety, that believes in a cunningly cursed way, that they are more clever than the one they pursue: unfortunately, there is evidence that this is actually true. Look around you and you will plainly see, that the hunted are completely unaware that they are being devoured while there is still life blood flowing through their veins. They are following the rules of the predators and blindly backing their way into the lair of their soul enemies.

It all started with a wicked kiss of kindness, a prelude for preparing the prey

1. Say you are sorry and say it often
2. Promote fairness
3. Promote equality
4. Say you are sorry for getting in the way, for not getting in the way, for clearing the way, for making way, for for for... be sorry for everything no matter what and be willing to prove you are sorry

A very good sign
I have a line that I use with new people that I meet who unwittingly apology to me almost immediately, on the heels of our initial introduction. I state "unless you mortally wound me, you are not allowed to say you are sorry". This shocks them a little but the shock turns into consternation when I point out to them that they have said it again, and again. Sometimes, they get annoyed with me, which I always take as a very good sign, because verily, verily, I say unto you, that when someone starts getting annoyed, they stop being damnably polite.

No where is a terrible place
The hefty price our society is currently paying for being damnably polite is loss of freedom. But then again, the masses have never been truly free, they have been subjects most of their lives, untrained in the ways of learning how to think and do for themselves. Paid for being pushed to and fro in directions they never wanted to go... no where is a terrible place to land when the days of a life end.

I heard her irritated mutterings
Yesterday, my son and I went to Home Depot to make a return. We entered and waited. We were served. We made our way to the closest door to leave and there sat a masked employee, paid to monitor this particular doorway that clearly was marked above with an EXIT sign. She was reduced to the useless role of door babysitter and supposed crowd control boss of humans that might actually think for themselves and choose this EXIT. She attempted to stop us, instructing us to use the exit the store had deemed appropriate, but of course, her words fell on deaf ears (although I do admit, I heard her irritated mutterings as we kept on walking, disregarding her commands).

Hell
And this is my driving point dear one: who the hell designated themselves the boss of you and me? Think about this now. More than an entire year ago, you were going in and out of places like you had a choice. LIKE YOU HAD A CHOICE... I am now laughing at the ridiculousness of having to explain to anyone that they actually have a choice?!

So here we are and I have a question for you: do you have a choice?

Here is another one: what do you choose?

One more: who... is the boss... of YOU?

Treated you like a child
It is time to get irritated. It is time to truly be sorry, for being the biggest pushover in the world by giving in to all the people that told you what to do and treated you like you were a child without a brain in your head. It is time you grew up and acted like an adult, responsible for being part of the SECOND greatest hoax perpetrated against mankind. The first one happen in a famous garden in Eden...

There is a slithery snake and he hisses and sugggesssts that you sssssneak around and continue to hide from being accountable for your ssssself. He is already damned, don't let him take you down with him

Ant Arrogance

Ant Arrogance

What ants do best
In the jungle an army of ants work diligently on their hill, building and adding to their nest. Work is what ants do best, gathering what is needed to house and feed themselves. On this particular day, nothing was different until something was.

Back to work
No One can stop us now
Off in the distance, the reverberation of heavy footsteps shakes the earth, causing gentle tremors near the hill. The ants bounce with every step, and in unison they lift their heads in a brief moment of listening and acknowledging: something is heading in our direction and it is largeNonplussed and with single minded focus and drive, they return to their tasks of building and storing: back to work.

Thudding foot
With their unstoppable work ethic, the ants continue gathering, building, searching for and finding all they need for safety and sustenance. Move this here, shove that over there. Follow the path, pick up this and relocate that; the ants are on the move and their diligent teamwork pays off. They are not to be distracted from the tasks at hand, and all the while, the heavy thudding foot landings become more palpable, and undeniably close ... until suddenly, it was upon them.

Thunderous culprit
There, in full view, appears the earth and ant moving thunderous culprit. An enormous elephant. Too busy and undaunted, the ants continue their work. Collect, connect, redirect, transport, establish, find, place, unearth. Looking up to see what the massive animal in their midst might do next does not occur to them; then the unanticipated happens. With one well placed foot plant, countless hours of work are for naught and the ant hill is destroyed. This has the ants that have by their good fortune, avoided being crushed, scurrying furiously, outraged by this assault on their sensibilities. How dare it? How dare this thing disrupt our work? they thought, if ants could think that is.

They climb quickly
Enraged, the ants quickly react and en masse, take action to make the elephant pay for this indecent, culpable assault. They rally, encourage one another to climb the mighty beast and attack, bring the elephant down and kill him. They climb quickly with many making it to the top, determined in their quest. They have the elephant where they want him, and avenging themselves gives them angry energy. They will have their pound of elephant flesh if it is the last thing they do. The elephant notices very little, if anything at all, in fact ...

One ant remains
Feeling a slight tickle, the elephant nonchalantly swings his majestic head, back and forth, flinging the tiny ants hither, thither, and yon. What does an elephant know of ants? What does an elephant care, if ants rampage against him? Teeny tiny tortures are lost on mighty elephants: no matter the number of the ant army, elephants cannot be impressed. The elephant head swings manage to dislodge the ants that have climbed as high as his neck. All but one ant remains, clinging desperately to his post, the elephants throat ...

"What shall I do?", the lone ant shouts down for instruction from his fellow fallen ants. The ants on the ground shake their tiny heads, slightly concussed from their drop from glory. The hard earth met them in their fall, and once the stars cleared from their tiny brains, they recalled their rage and of one accord they shout "Strangle him, STRANGLE HIM".

Writers note
This little story made me laugh heartily with the ridiculousness of the mental picture of a solo assault ant attempting to strangle an elephant. A family friend told us this joke during a dinner party, and it has remained with me for countless years.

Yesterday while listening to one of my favourite preachers, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, I laughed at his attitudinal quick wittedness. Stay with me here, I will make a connection. One of the most commonly heard criticisms and excuses for not believing in God is His allowance for suffering in this world. It's the old "if I were God, I would do this or that", blah blah blah.

Vernon's question and response to those who don't like God's performance and feel confident enough to verbalize complaints is: "What are you going to do about it?"

God
Dear reader, you and I, we are the ants. I shake my head in disbelief at our arrogance. Think of the ant, searching to find food that he will eat but has not made. He looks for building materials to place on and in his shelter, finding these too, conveniently located for his retrieval and usage. None of it his, all of it borrowed from here, over there, everywhere. God as the powerful Elephant in this metaphor can place His heavy cosmic foot wherever and whenever He pleases, right on your little ant hill castle.

The Ruler of the Universe
  • Do you, do I, dare to arrogantly suggest that The Ruler of the Universe do anything other than exactly what He is currently doing?
  • Are you a would be God assassin, with your turned up nose and slanderous words, challenging His might and right to do as He pleases?
Little fellow ant, you are nothing and no-one without Him. Your castle is build based on His provision, and He can do with it, and you, whatever He wishes, with or without warning.

"Strangle Him!" ... Not a chance!

Magnify Your Mission

Precognition
I like this word, how about you dear reader? It has a supernatural feel and as we go into this piece of writing, it adds a sensational sentiment of anticipation to think about its meaning: to know something in advance, have foreknowledge of an event. Do you have this gift?

I will start at the end
Where to start:  I will start at the end of one relationship and begin with the next, all with this running in the background precognition super sense that had me doing and saying things that set me up for the life I am currently savouring. Let's go in

2017 my husband leaves the family
2019 we divorce
The End

2017 "But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).
2020 We serve the Lord
The beginning of living life completely and utterly dependant on our God

A nail in my marriage coffin
Here are some of the words I spoke, each one a nail in my marriage coffin: "I love Jesus more than anyone and anything." From this point on, it was only a matter of time before he walked out: a line had been drawn and I had finally crossed it, one too many times; the damage was irreparably done. The dividing line exists and the crowds have parted into two distinct and separate groups and we can all see it now, isn't that right dear one?

Back to precognition
I have new front doors. Where there was once one blind door, there are now two with let-in-bright-light glass inserts. I have new front steps. Where there were two narrow steps, there are now three broad inviting steps. Enter my front hallway and the overhead light is a massive ball of paper daisies that decorate the walls by casting dancing floral shadows. My front room has selected art and gorgeous furniture that hold meaning, and wherever my eyes travel, I see what man has imagined and captured, crafting it with love so others can be moved. My office and gym, my lower floor visiting room, are elegant and tasteful: there isn't a thing in these spaces that has not been chosen, by me, to take up residence.

Glorify God
I share all of this, because prior to my husband leaving, I had an inexplicable urge to make things new, and to my unhindered liking. Little did I know that God was preparing me, for the end of my marriage and the beginning of my real life, one of service to the God that created me specifically and with purpose. I am here to glorify God dear one, that is a wonderful purpose, wouldn't you agree?

Prophetic
My writing, the pieces I poured into while I was married and on the verge of in-life-we-do-part, was prophetic and served me well when I looked back. Younger me was informing future me of what was to be and it continues dear one, because I have precognition: this knowing is becoming a finely tuned fork, that resonates truth with warnings attached. This is no magic trick or special ability, it comes to me as a gift for my faithfulness in reading Scripture, listening to Gods voice, and wanting, almost desperately at times, for others to listen to him too. I say desperately, because to know God and live for Jesus is life, and to know this and also know that people live without him, is a harrowing feeling. They do not know what and whom they are rejecting, or walking away from...

But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15)

Trusted truth tellers
Let in the Light
My home is a sanctuary. Those that enter in are invited, to study Scripture, to praise God, to worship him in song and with the fullness of their voices. We listen to preaching and we speak about serving and we are trusted truth tellers, counted on to speak what many are fearful of speaking, because they may be rejected and ostracized by a world that does not know the Saviour or want to. We serve the Lord, just as the household of Joshua did, and we are not ashamed to glorify our Father in heaven.

Magnify your mission
Believing in God and Jesus as Saviour are not really options: there is a walking away from the triune God or walking toward. One is an ending, the other a beginning. Who you travel with along the way will either thwart you, or magnify your mission. Sometimes, when a person leaves our life, it is because God has removed them so that we can be unfiltered and unfettered, to serve him wholly (or holy, dear one).

Precognition provider
The third party of the trinity is the Holy Ghost, my ever present discernment or precognition provider. He can be your travel companion too. Jesus is your double-door-brilliant-light entry point.

Knock, and the door will be opened to you: Jesus is on the other side.

Tears in My Ears

A punch to the gut
We lie flat on the floor, face up, looking at the ceiling while holding hands. There is no better place for us, to compliment the low, down to the ground feeling, of helplessness that fills the air with breathlessness, and periodic sniffles. I know this feeling, I have had it before, in fact, this isn't the first time I have spent time on my office floor. Not long ago, I was face down, in the depths of despair. This is how there-is-nothing-I-can-do-to-make-this-better hits us; like a punch to the gut it knocks the wind out of us, and our sails. Taking to the floor seems like the only possible non-solution solution to the problem. Oddly, the perspective of inability opens the door to possibility, to aid, to asking for help that our capable side is loathe to admit to needing.

The new reality
My client is a young, adept, articulate more-than-capable nurse. She is well accustomed to being of service, to answering the call of the hurting, to being an aid to wellness for the sick and consoler for the dying. She works efficiently with understanding and deep compassion for suffering patients: her work is a calling, as she comforts the vulnerable in their time of need. Now she must face some facts that threaten her composure: her mom has Alzheimers. She has known this for a year and yet, knowledge of circumstances does not usually coincide with realization and acceptance of a situation: there is a delay, dear reader, a time lapse between hearing information and acclimating to the new reality. She knows what the future holds for her mother, and she also knows that the landscape of her own life is changing, and that she is not in the drivers seat as she takes this road of knowing without being able to fix or change any of it: she does not do helplessness well, but then again, who amongst us does, or wants to?

Back to the floor, literally
As we lie on the floor, the tears flow as she haltingly speaks about her fears. She is grieving, concerned, disappointed, anticipating the worst, and feeling inept, ill equipped, and near the edge of hopelessness... the floor hurts my back as we lie there looking up. It is perfectly uncomfortable: we stay there. I am teaching my young client as we lie supine, that this is exactly how loss feels, almost unbearably uncomfortable: that even if we want to get up and out of it, the heart ache travels with us, isn't that right, dear reader?

We stayed with our backs to the floor, lying flat out, despite the beginning of lower back soreness. She needs this, the uselessness of being subject to the forces that be. After all, she recognized at one point during our session, she doesn't have control over anything. Mature people know this, that while they have choice about who they are in challenging circumstances, control is an optical and emotional illusion. She is a wise one.

We lie there for a while, vulnerable, admitting to being exposed to the yuck and muck that life throws inevitably into our lives. We looked at each other at one point and I noticed she was trying to dry her ears... we both laughed as I stated and asked at the same time, "you got tears in your ears?" Sometimes, crying is the best we can do with what we've got, with what we know, and with the people we love the most.

"Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind?" (Job 38:36).

It is instinct that teaches the mind wisdom, and intuition that teaches the heart understanding. My client, as I stated earlier, is wise. She has an understanding heart. Her essence, is love.

Acceptance
Eventually, we were done with the floor. It took our weight, and the heaviness of the future remained there somehow, for the moment. There was nothing more left to not do, except this: acceptance.
  • Acceptance of the fact that we lose our loved ones through separation, divorce, death, and sometimes, horribly, right before our very eyes, one lost memory at a time
  • Acceptance of the fact that we are helpless to help and that is when we need it the most
  • Acceptance of the fact that even when we don't understand, God has a plan beyond our comprehension
  • Acceptance too, that all we can really do when things get really bad, is to stay, be love, be a healing balm of acceptance: accepting what someone else is suffering without accusing them, without getting angry at them, without blaming them for what is clearly, beyond their control.
Jesus wept
I told my client, that her pain will be her best teacher. This has been true in my life. The floor is where I go when I submit to my Sovereign and beg for relief. He hears my cries, and he hears yours too, dear reader. The shortest verse in The Bible, is "Jesus wept" ((John 11:35). Jesus knows outcomes, and has compassionate understanding for us when we don't.

What I have learned dear reader, is how beautiful people are when they take care of one another. More often then not these days, when I weep, it is out of pure gratitude, for the love that washes over me daily from those that are a healing balm in my life. They are many, and I am blessed.

Help
Can you help me up?
Now for you, dear one. Do you need to lie down, face up, and cry out helpin your almost hopeless state of despair? Do you need someone to lie down beside you as your ears fill with your tears? What do you need, in your subject to circumstances present state of being?

What do you need? Sometimes, we need to look up, before we can get up. Help is available, all you need do, is ask.

Eagles

A heavenly flight
I am in awe over what I have recently learned about eagles. I will draw heavily on the life lessons from these mighty birds, creating a metaphor for teachable humans. Bullet points will be followed by an eagle to human analogy: join me for this heavenly flight, dear reader?

All about eagles
  • They typically live to seventy years
  • They, along with hawks, have the keenest eyesight
  • They hunt their prey and eat fresh meat
  • Their beaks get bent, their talons dull, and feathers thicken over time
  • They fly above storms
  • They avoid danger, except when protecting their young or their territory against predators
  • They mate for life with one partner
After reading the above points, you may be saying to yourself, this in interesting, but not captivating. So what, what is the writer going on about? Allow me to elaborate: take the time to learn what I have?

At the age of forty
At the age of forty, an eagle isn't as capable as he or she once was, to hunt and kill, protect and defend. With a bent beak, dull talons and heavy feathers, this bird is somewhat hindered from soaring and providing for itself. It is at this point in this life-of-an-eagle recounting, that we humans can perk up our ears and take notice.

Just past midlife
At just past the midlife point, the eagle will take itself somewhere high up for a five month rejuvenation process. The eagle intentionally bashes its well worn bent beak, until it breaks off: low and behold, a new and improved beak grows in to take its place. Next, the eagle will pluck out its talons with said beak, and you guessed it, new ones grow into place, sharp enough to make the eagle a threat again to the snakes (and other prey) it hunts, kills and eats (less snakes in the world, of the animal and human variety, isn't such a bad thing, now is it dear reader?). Lastly, the eagle, using those blade point sharp talons, plucks out the thickened feathers that have made flight cumbersome: renewal occurs, and freshly sprouted feathers makes for smooth soaring on way up high air currents, easy yet again, for this majestic creature. For the next thirty years of the eagles life, they are brand new... and dear one, you can be too.

Bash out your old beak
The question is, are you willing to bash out your old beak, pluck out your dull talons and next, remove thickened heavy awkward feathers, in preparation for the second half of your life? The cognitive operation of renewal is a painful one, and it requires faith in the process, to bring about significant change.

Allow me to simplify this dear one:
  • You have some dull and desperate ways that need change
  • You have patterns of behaviour, and thinking habits, that would benefit from bashing out
  • Your flight patterns may be circular, getting you no where and perhaps even, keeping you way too close to the ground, preventing you from seeing the panorama from above
  • Your vision may be restricted to what is immediately in front of you, keeping you from seeing the opportunities that may advance you in your purposes here on earth
  • I invite you to further extrapolate, given the information provided in point form above
I needed this lesson
The metaphor of the eagle is simply glorious. I don't know about you dear reader, but I needed this lesson, this reminder, to take a good hard look at myself, my thinking patterns, my status quo approach to life, and the redundancies of behaviours that no longer serve me and in fact, make me dull and ineffective. The eagle life modelled for me the mindset of restoration and being a new creation in Christ:

Renew your strength
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31)

We are called to greatness
We are called to greatness dear reader. The here and now is not all there is: the eternal is calling us forth and it is graduation time. If you haven't done the hard work of self evaluation, perhaps you can take the time now, before the New Year, our 2020, begins?

I promise you, your efforts will be rewarded!

Now, is your time

The Other Guy

They have a conversation
We have two guys and one God: they hang on crosses. While in physical agony and during public humiliation, they have a conversation, about impending death. One guy, he knows, that time is running out, that it is only a matter of time... that this is it: life will be over shortly. The other guy, he is trying to borrow time, he is denying that he is without options; he thinks that maybe, he can cling to something of this world, the one he is familiar with and wants to spend more time in.

Like you and me
Three men: two ordinary criminals, of the garden variety, like you and me. The one placed in the middle, it just so happens, is The Son of Man, God incarnate. The men flanking him, direct their attention His way. Fascinating. Death is imminent for all three and in this scenario, all eyes turn toward one man. He has made the news and is famous, or infamous, depending on the circles in which one travels.

Let us eavesdrop on their conversation:
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise (Luke 23:39-43)

We have us paradise, and hell
Every knee will bow
We have one guy, Jesus, and the other guy. Now, dear reader, I will be quick and to the point. If Jesus can say Today shalt thou be with me in paradise to one guy, where do you suppose, the other guy ended up? We have us heaven, or paradise, and hell: not so paradisiacal! There is sin, and there is salvation. There is the sinner, and there is the Saviour

You on a cross
Now, may I be so bold, dear one. Picture yourself on a cross, with Him, next to you. Which are you? The betrayer or the beholden? Which one? No one, not a one, will get out of this life without stating who Jesus is to them.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11)

Life is short, eternity can be sweet
You know you are a being unto death, isn't that right dear one? Nature is a murderer, this is what I read this very morning. Every creature with breath, eventually will be unable to draw in, in order to save its life. This means you, and me. I would love to scare the hell right out of you, but not even Jesus could do that with the other guy.

Why not be like the sinner that asked to be remembered? Why not give God his due, and ask for a place in His eternal Kingdom? Why, pray tell, not, dear reader?

With every inhale, you can exhale thanks, to the God that giveth, and taketh away.
