The masked ones, I held in suspicion, especially those that pretended Christ as their Saviour. The quitters, that would not join in groups they had previously attended in person, I looked at with eyes of doubt ~ I started seeing the vapidity in them, the desire they clung to for easy living. Pick-up and carry your cross did not enter into their thinking, because their flesh demanded, Take care of me.
I have not forgotten all the clients that left money on the table, as they backed away from in person work with me. I have not discharged from my memory, all of the Bible study ladies that took to zoom gatherings, that previously came to my home for fellowship and learning. Cowards they were, each one that decided, to shelter safely at home to preserve life, or for feeling threatened by the big bad wolfish government, that promised misery and penalties to nonconformists. God has given the cowards a reprieve, but I wonder, are they sorrowful for having forsaken the Lord of glory when covid attempted to rule and reign in their lives? They bowed down to the covid gods, the demons that snarled and snagged, and do they now, beg for forgiveness, for their depraved thinking and concomitant behaviours?
Antisocial is antichrist. The demons demanded antisocial behaviours, forbidding closeness and dependancy on one another, as kind and merciful humans: the suggestion that keeping apart was the kindest thing to do, to prevent the spread of a pretend disease and disaster, is precisely what God forbids. To love God and as commanded by him, to love our neighbour, is to be there with and for them, as community members. It is shameful when I recall all of the women that I shared Biblical truth with, that pulled away from being in each others company, while they continued to grocery shop, go to work, and do other things where the public does their business. Forsaking the study of God's Word in company, was a grievous sin, and one that I here, rebuke them for: they did wrongly, and no matter how much time has past, our un-repented sins, go with us everywhere, until confessed and forgiven. This, I want, namely, the confession of sins to God, and requests for forgiveness, for each man, women, and child, that during covid, went along with all the nonsense, believing they would save themselves and others, when in reality, they were deceived and needed a reminder, that God and God alone, saves, heals, redeems.
If someone forsook you during covid, they also forsook Jesus as the King in their lives:
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40).
Kindness to the least of us, is kindness to the Lord. When we serve one another, it is as though we are serving the God of the universe. Denying love, denying kindness to our fellow-creatures, is a cruelty that is not overlooked by God Almighty ~ it is an affront to him, and demeans his divine design, since we are to be in relationship with our others.
Imagine Jesus in a mask. Imagine Jesus hiding in his house and sanitizing his fruits and vegetables, and only allowing in those that are wearing things on strings over their faces, into his abode. Imagine him saying, Sorry, I am restricted right now, so you stay blind, deaf, dumb, demon possessed and crippled, until the Romans let me out to play again. Imagine him leaving Lazarus in the grave, for fear of catching death. Imagine him now, turning his back on you, just for a time, until all the scary stuff subsides.
Think with me, what nonsense humans willingly believe, when truth stands erect and ready to dismiss all deception, and free us from what is ridiculousness. Think with me too, how the dust has seemingly settled, and everyone that went along with the mass formation deception, now wants to pretend nothing happened, and we can resume where we left off, before all the wreaking of havoc occurred.
Everything has changed forever. The dividing of the goats and sheep occurred, and those that chose covid over Christ, remain in that camp, unless of course, they have an emotional and spiritual breakdown and breakthrough moment, of coming to terms with what they have done and the long term repercussions for their choices that impacted everyone around them while they were trying to save themselves.
Bravery is a choice when we are put on the spot and challenged to prove our mettle. As long as we live, there will be opportunities to prove to whom we belong, and it is my deepest longing, to have those that made themselves enemies of God during covid, to come clean before him, and betray him no more.
